Whether you make a deconstructed version or blend all the ingredients together, this is a great morning meal or simply a fun sweet treat.
SERVES 2 COOK 10 minutes
1 cup (250ml) chia pudding (see here)
1 cup frozen strawberries
¾ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup cold filtered water
6 tablespoons vanilla yogurt
Teaspoon maple syrup
Coconut chips
Sprinkle of fresh strawberries and blueberries
Select frozen or fresh strawberry and blueberry ingredients to create volume and dimension.
Showcase fruit by positioning and layering around the bottom sides of glass or mason jar
Pour vanilla yogurt slowly, as you don’t want the layers to sink into each other.
Top yogurt with chia pudding recipe here. Ensure you have made chia seed pudding in advance to achieve optimal thick gel-like texture.
Limit the amount of liquid, you want the layers to have a compact consistency as opposed to watery
Sprinkle chopped strawberries along with whole blueberries and desiccated coconut flakes on top.
Drizzle maple syrup to your desire for that extra sweetness.
